More Police on the beat

Burton Police Station

The Government's announcement of 20,000 more police officers is good news, and I will fight to ensure more of these officers are on the beat in our towns, but also in rural areas where crime and anti-social behaviour is often overlooked.

I will continue to campaign for safer streets by working closely with colleagues at the Home Office and Staffordshire’s Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, Ben Adams, to identify what more can be done to tackle crime locally and support victims of crime.
