More funding for our local NHS

Kate Griffiths MP

Kate has a strong connection with Queens Hospital. It was where her daughter was born and where her family have received care for generations. Kate will continue to champion further funding and improvement of local NHS services, both to the Hospital and to GP surgeries.

At the 2019 General Election the Government said it would invest in the NHS and since then, Queen’s Hospital in Burton has seen multi-million-pound investment programmes for the local hospital, both in upgrading existing facilities and also for winter preparedness. The coronavirus pandemic has been the greatest test for the NHS and I want to see continued investment in local services which are able to be delivered as close to the community as possible.
