Uttoxeter - Have your say survey!

Uttoxeter

Uttoxeter is a vibrant, historical market town, and I am honoured to be your MP and represent you and your views in Parliament.

This past year has been an incredibly difficult time for everyone, but it has been so heart-warming to see the local community here supporting one another.

Coronavirus has tested the resolve of this country but as we recover from the impact of COVID-19, I want to hear your views about how we can build back better and make Uttoxeter an even better place to live.

Many constituents will also be aware of the recently approved Uttoxeter Masterplan.  This is an illustrative plan, prepared by East Staffordshire Borough Council to look at options to improve the town centre and ensure its success for future generations to come. The Masterplan is not a plan for development, and further consultation will take place before any of the proposed changes can be implemented.

You can read about the Uttoxeter Masterplan by clicking here

In the meantime, I want to hear from residents to see what their views are on improvements to Uttoxeter and what they would like to see change in the future.

Please can you spare just a few minutes of your time to complete the below survey?

Uttoxeter - Have Your Say Survey!

  • 1 Current Uttoxeter
  • 2 Health services
  • 3 Your details
1. Have you heard of the Uttoxeter Masterplan?
2. The Masterplan identifies that the Maltings site should be the main priority for the town centre regeneration. Do you agree with this assessment?
3. The Masterplan suggests that sites such as the Trinty Centre should be removed to reduce the rate of empty shops and replaced with housing. If more town centre living is needed what would you like to see in return? Choose THREE
4. I have been campaigning to deliver Project B. This will see upgrades to the A50 junction to the east of Uttoxeter like the improvements seen in the west under Project A. Would you support these plans to ease congestion & improve safety?
5. The train line that runs through Uttoxeter is set to see improvements with more and more seats, inclduing at weekends. Post-COVID, would you consider using the train more?
